Hometown: Oxford, OH

Jonathan has 17 years of industry experience in customer service, outside sales, international sales, and various management roles. He spent the first 4 years of his career at a manufacturer learning the in’s and out’s from the inside before working for a rep agency. In 2014, Jonathan started JL Jones Group after learning the ropes for a few years working for a seasoned agency. He enjoys Colorado’s great outdoors by mountain biking, golfing, and hiking.

Justin has 22 years of industry experience in distribution, install, estimating, sales, project management, and various management roles. He spent 15 years of his career working his way up the ladder in distribution to eventually run his own branch of The Hallgren Co. He is originally from the great state of Texas and still brings his Texas passion in everything he does. Texas Tech college football and his family are where his heart is.

Todd has 10 years of industry experience in distribution, estimating, sales, project management, and install. He spent the first 5 years of his career in distribution working in various roles so he has a complete understanding of what his distributors need from him. He has a passion for off roading, wake boarding, and his family.

College: Indiana University / Hometown: Fishers, IN

Lauren has 12 years of industry experience in inside sales. Lauren has worked as an inside sales representative for the last 10 years and started out working directly for a manufacturer to begin her career. When she is not selling she enjoys reading, golfing, traveling, spending time with her two children, painting, hiking, and concerts.

Cindy Code

Senior Architectural Sales Manager – Colorado, Wyoming, Montana

College: Michigan State University / Hometown: Michigan

Cindy has 14 years of industry experience working with architects and specifications. She has a great understanding of what architects need from a manufacturer’s representative and uses her timely communication to assist them in any way possible. Cindy has a passion for art, musicals, learning, family, and travel.

Matt Nicholas

Wholesale Sales Manager – Arizona

Hometown: Fremont, CA

Matt has 6 years of industry experience starting out in the access control world where he worked for a low voltage manufacturers representative firm calling on integrators, locksmiths, and wholesalers. He has also spent many years as a superintendent for a general contractor so he knows the construction industry inside and out. In Matt’s free time he loves to skateboard, jam to punk music, watch baseball and hockey, and cheer on all his favorite California sports teams.

Cory Jackson

Architectural Sales Manager – Utah, Idaho

Hometown: Riverton, UT

Cory has 23 years of commercial building materials industry experience in various project management, sales, product development and leadership roles. He spent 13 years of his career working for a Division 10 distributor before leaving to jump in to the Division 27, access control, world. He joined JL Jones Group in early 2022 to handle the architectural workload calling on architects. Cory is passionate about being active in his community, his family, and sports. He stands a whopping 6’6″ so watch out for him on the basketball court.

Amanda Straub

Architectural Sales Manager – Arizona, New Mexico, El Paso

College: Indiana University Hometown: Fishers, IN

Amanda has 10 years of industry experience all working directly for a manufacturer of door hardware. She has held several roles in customer service, order entry, and sales operations over her career. She moved to Colorado with her family in 2021 after spending most of her life in Indiana. She joined JL Jones Group in 2022 to take on the bulk of the inside sales tasks. Amanda loves to travel the world, read all the books, spend time with her family, and dominate fantasy sports.

Austin Schlagel

Regional Sales Manager – Arizona, Las Vegas

College: Grand Canyon University / Hometown: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Austin has 3 years of industry experience as he came to us almost right out of Grand Canyon University where he studied business. He moved to the Phoenix metro in 2018 to attend college and play baseball. After school he decided to make Arizona his home and began his career with JL Jones Group. In his free time he loves to golf, watch sports, play baseball, and spend time with his parents.

Dave Pavlik

College: University of Nebraska / Hometown: Omaha, Nebraska

Dave has 3 years of experience in the building materials industry. Prior to coming to JL Jones Group he worked for Crone Metals selling sheet metal to division 7, 8, 9 customers. He moved to Colorado from Omaha in 2023 and has loved every minute of it. In his free time he likes to ski, watch hockey, and listen to Nickelback or any other great rock band for that matter.

Sydney Mortensen

Sales Support Specialist

College: Kansas University / Hometown: Afton, MN

Sydney joined the JL Jones Group in 2024, after studying psychology and communications at the University of Kansas. With 3 years of experience in customer service, organization, and leadership, she brings valuable skills that contribute to the smooth operation of the team. She moved to Arizona in 2021 and has since made it her home. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching football, her dog, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.

Noah Burns

Regional Sales Representative – New Mexico and El Paso

School: Grand Canyon University / Hometown: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Noah came to JL Jones Group in 2025 right out of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. He is a Native to ABQ and was happy to move back home to grow an untapped market. He was born and raised in the door, frame, and hardware industry so he eat, sleeps, and breaths the products he represents. In his free time he loves to spend time traveling, watching sports, going to music festivals, and eating any and everything he can get his hands on.

Advantages of partnering with us

The manufacturer will avoid all fixed costs associated with hiring direct employees such as salary, insurance, expenses, workers compensation, company vehicles, human resources, travel, etc.
